Insulate your home with a roller
Classic insulation slows down heat; THERMOSHIELD REFLEX PREMIUM reflects it. The hollow glass microspheres dispersed in the paint form, once dry, a continuous heat-reflective layer that acts like a mirror for infrared radiation: the heat that would escape through the wall bounces back into the room. That is why lambda value or U coefficient are not indicated — they cannot be measured in a layer of tenths of a millimetre. What is indicated instead is the proportion of thermal radiation reflected: up to 87 %.
Winter: warmer rooms with lower boiler heating
A cold wall steals your heat even if the thermometer reads 22 °C. This paint raises the surface temperature of the walls: the space heats up faster and the thermal sensation is greater with less heating. Every degree less on the thermostat shows directly on your energy bill.
Summer: end of overheating
The high-reflectivity white surface bounces solar radiation back before it heats the facade. On south-facing walls, attics and rooms under flat roofs, the need for air conditioning drops noticeably.
Goodbye to mould and damp corners
Mould appears where moist air condenses on a cold wall. By raising the surface temperature, condensation disappears or is drastically reduced. The paint also incorporates enhanced anti-mould protection; outdoors it prevents algae and moss, and thanks to the lotus-flower effect the surface self-cleans in the rain.
Where it works best
Wherever contact insulation is not viable or not cost-effective: historic buildings and facades with mouldings, stone walls, listed buildings, apartment blocks, basements, garages and remediation of thermal bridges (door and window jambs, lintels, corners, floor-slab junctions).
